Christmas is the season for giving...

We always try to do our part in helping whenever we feel it is needed, not just at Christmas, but all year.

This Christmas we picked a neighboring family of 4, that we thought could use a little extra help, after several hospital stays and 2 small children. With both these factors we know it can be hard at this time of year.

On December 20th, another neighbor and myself paid this family a visit, I gave the mother & father a candy bouquet which held a card, in the card was cash and a gift card (thanks to the George Dickel Red Cup Society), the other neighbor gave the children gifts as well.

There were smiles and tears, happy tears of course.

Hope they Have a Very Merry Christmas!!!

The Best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.--Burton Hillis
