Jammin' in the Holler

Our little town of Normandy in Bedford County Tn, hosted a concert by Country Music Artist Jamey Johnson on October 13, 2010.

The free concert was a fundraiser for the Normandy Volunteer Fire Department.

Normandy resident and business owner Nikki Mitchell is friends with Jamey and is one of the reasons Johnson agreed to perform here.

While in town Jamey was given a few tokens of appreciation, he was given a fireman's hat and was named honorary member of the Normandy Volunteer Fire Department and was also given some of Ol' George Dickel's Finest Sippin' Whisky by the Fire Department as well as by Lou, Dickel's own tour guide.

The concert was "awesome" and a total success with an estimated 3000+ in attendance, who knew Normandy could hold so many people.

Many Thanks go out to:

The Town of Normandy
The Normandy Volunteer Fire Department
The River Cafe
Jamey Johnson
Nikki Mitchell

And all those that made this a success!!!!!!!
